# Survival - July 2026

This is a summary of the changes we will be implementing in upcoming updates, following the feedback from a survey than ran from July 2-17, 2026. **4** players responded to this survey - thank you to everyone who took part!

Changes we make as a result of this survey may not stick around, and there will be a follow-up survey later this year to see if the changes have been well received.

Cited percentages are rounded to the nearest 1% for readability. Support numbers include "no preference" responses.

## Open Feedback

### Current Overworld Generation

A common theme was that players are generally happy with the current Overworld generation. The terrain itself received positive feedback, with most feeling that exploration is already enjoyable.

The biggest area for improvement, however, is structure variety. Many players felt that exploration becomes repetitive over time, with too few unique structures and points of interest to discover. Adding more variety would make exploring the world feel more rewarding and encourage players to venture further from their bases.

This is something we'll be addressing in the next season of Survival.

### Current End Generation

Feedback on the End was noticeably more mixed than the Overworld. A common concern was that traversing the End can feel frustrating, with large gaps between islands and massive height differences making exploration slow and often impractical without an Elytra.

Many players felt that this creates an awkward progression point, where exploring the dimension is unnecessarily difficult before obtaining late-game mobility. As a result, the End can feel less enjoyable and less rewarding to explore than it should be.

Improving End generation is one of our priorities for the next season of Survival. Our goal is to make the End more engaging to explore, with terrain and layouts that are easier to navigate while still preserving the unique feel and challenge of the dimension.

### Current Graves Implementation

This is a highly divisive topic within the community. Some players want more time to recover their items, others feel the current timer is too long and would prefer it to be shorter, while some would like the ability to loot any grave, regardless of ownership.

There isn't a clear solution that satisfies everyone, so we'll be taking the time to carefully evaluate the feedback and design a system that addresses the biggest pain points with the current graves system. We know we won't be able to please everyone, but our goal is to find the best overall balance.

### **Overall Rating**

* 25% of players rated CraftHorizon Survival 6/10
* 50% of players rated CraftHorizon Survival 7/10
* 25% of players rated CraftHorizon Survival 10/10

**On average, CraftHorizon Survival was rated a 7.5/10** in its current form. While that's a solid score and shows that many players are already enjoying the experience, it's also clear that there's still plenty of room for improvement.

We're pleased with what we've built, but we know CraftHorizon Survival can be even better. Your feedback has highlighted areas that need attention, and we'll continue refining and expanding the mode to make it the best experience possible. Thank you!
